Real Estate Research Analyst (Part Time)

Overview:
We are hiring a Part-Time Real Estate Research Analyst to support our acquisitions and lending team by providing property-level and market-level insights. In this role, you will analyze comparable sales, local real estate trends, and neighborhood data to help inform loan underwriting and investment decisions. This position is perfect for someone with a background in real estate analysis or data research who is looking for flexible, part-time work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research recent sales comps, rental rates, and ARV estimates using Zillow, Redfin, MLS, and PropStream

• Build summary reports for individual properties or entire neighborhoods to support underwriting

• Analyze demographic and economic trends in target lending markets

• Track housing inventory, new development activity, and local zoning changes that could impact valuations

• Collaborate with underwriters and originators to evaluate the viability of proposed deals

• Maintain a central repository of market insights, charts, and property data for internal use

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in real estate research, appraisal, investment analysis, or similar

• Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with PropStream or CoStar is a plus

• Strong research and report-writing abilities

• Analytical mindset with the ability to draw insights from market data

• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate research in a timely manner
